    ‘Structured’ vessels

    Hi,

not sure if this is the right place to post, so apologies in advance..

I was wondering if anyone on here might be able to explain’structuring’ in relation to Norwegian ex-fishing vessels....I’ve lost count of the hours I’ve pored over old ‘Skoyte’s etc on the internet, but I sense that it is not easy to buy one of these wooden beauties if you like outside Norway...

any clarification would be very gratefully received...!

    Hi Stuart.

Welcome back. I am not sure, if i understand you right. Do you want to buy a wooden ex-fishing boat similar to a Skoyte or do you want to receive more information about the structure of the hull of these boats?

        Hi Ralf,

yes, I’ve been looking at many boats which are structured which are really nice, but I’m having a hard time trying to find out if someone in Scotland would be allowed to buy one and take it back to the UK.
