The Marco Polo is circulated for sale "for conversion to static role". Non-SOLAS compliant. The Light Weight is also given as a guideline for pricing.
In other words, offer above scrap value will be entertained. If none received, scrapping is next for this fine ship too.

interesting because CMV are said to have a 5-year charter agreementon her starting 2010. Has she been brought into compliance?

SOOOORRY!!! The ship offered for sale is the Mona Lisa.
I got them mixed up as they are close in size and age.

That makes sense- I'd heard Mona Lisa was on her last visits here

                        Re: MS Marco Polo

early (6.00am) morning call at Ijmuiden the ''Black Watch'' was expected at 7.30am followed by the ''Costa Magica'' at 8.00am and followed by ''Marco Polo'' at 9.00am.
ariving at the canal at Ijmuiden we already seen the ''costa magica'' passing by,maybe they would take her first in,she need some more space as the other 2. (btw ''marco polo wouldend get moored at pta
but still to dark for taken images, but strainge that she was already there.
the PTA web times is moored at PTA,you have to be 2 or 2.5 hours before that at the locks.
port authoreties said call of the ''Black Watch'' at 6.15am.
so we can say that we have been f...ed by PTA,the Amsterdam port authoreties, and by the cruising companies.
the time of arival of ''Marco Polo'' was the time of the ''Black Watch''.
so we missed her, also to dark for getting the ''costa magica'' and bearly light enough for the ''Marco Polo''.

                        best regards Thijs
