    Thank you for the comment,Clipper

The weather changes fast from snow, sun and snow again. It's typical for this time of the year in the north.
Hopefully the spring is coming soon.

In England , it's hard to imagine snow right now. We have had fine Spring weather for several weeks. Of course, it does help that we are 10+ degrees further south.

There is not much news to tell from the north, except that there is not much spring weather today with heavy snow showers.
Just managed to get a picture of northbound "Vesterålen" this afternoon after leaving Tromsø before she disappeared in the snow showers.

Yes, food supplies and medicines are the first priority with this extra ordinary route.
When all roads are closed due to bad weather, these ships are the lifeline for many people in Finnmark to get supplies to the various places.

I can imagine that. But i think they will transport in first row important cargo like food and things of daily needs??

"Vesterålen" north Tromsø strait yesterday afternoon.
There are very few passengers if any at all on these sailings. There were only 6 passengers on the two ships combined on the last sailings given by Hurtigruten.

Loved seeing the difference between not only the seasons, but daylight and nightlight. The ship looks so different when we compare these two brilliant images.

Looking as pointy at the front and as boxy at the back as she ever did.

No challenge. Just ask the right people.

The name of the panorama lounge on MS Narvik was Leden.

And yes on MS Vesterålen, Fyret was the panorama lounge - and it was the aft lounge on deck D that had the name Vesterålstuen.
Working...
