    Welcome to Trondheim!

And should I be home and not working that particular day, I'd be honored to welcome you personally!

You would be riding for free naturally (as would all walk-on guests).

Honored to welcome you on board.

"Kong Harald" southbound from Kristiansund this afternoon. Backing all the way from her dock over to my spotterplace

This is how the 'J-O View' looks from the other side...

          And out Sørsundet she sail....

Having so many images of all the ships, it becomes a challenge showing something else: from Trondheimsfjord a few days ago:

Wow..., your own look spot on!! Great picture!!!

Here's "Kong Harald" leaving Kristiansund today Friday on her southbound voyage. Seen together with last cruiseship of the season here in Kristiansund, the "Amadea"

And out the Sørsundet outlet she sails, under the Sørsundet bridge connecting two of the four islands ('lands') making this city, Kirklandet and Innlandet. Bridge opened in 1964, but that's another story

Didn't manage to adjust my camera quite well when I just had to fire off this shot. Just noticed the logo of Hurtigruten passing overhead a seagull would make a motive

                "Kong Harald" in Sandnessjøen today....

This is the last pic from me here in the forum for a while. It's not fun taking pictures longer. Has lost interest in taking pictures of the boats
Will enough pictures of me later. But not now......

A sound decision, Helgeland. If you just take pictures, and the next picture resembles the previous one, I can understand that you loose interest. Or if you look at all your pctures and find that they are all alike, yes, then the fun is gone. Fun in taking pictures comes if you can add something different in your next pictures; different angles, different ways of looking, different light, different points of standing. By adding new elements you can grow as a photographer. Just snapshooting often results in boring pictures.
Now, take a break from photographing ships. Find something else; flowers, girls, airplanes, skies, old houses. One day, when you see a ship and feel for taking a picture – do it!
                  Regards; Sigve.

A very, very wise advice: and I can attest to everything you say, this is exactly my opinion as well. Well said!

Was it Kong Harald which will sail to Poland for lay up and maintenance this winter?

Heard that the ship going for lay up will have all her pipings refurbished and replaced.
