Good news Lofoten is alongside Bergen and flying the flag of her new home port Tromso on the staff.
Looking forward to posts from the lucky people on the anniversary voyage, especially the renovated B deck.

    Happy voyage

        Shiny to say the least.

Should be NORWEGIAN in the previous post - not Noregian....

Since yesterday I am back home. Sorry, my mobile phone doesn't work with the new CV, so I couldn't read or answer. Lofoten reached Bergen the 2. March early at twelve o'clock.

First impressions - a new star and anchors in a bright black. Somebody who will guess how long the colour will last there?

That's a really nice touch, adding the star! Something for those missing Nordstjernen in Hurtigruten, I guess

The first cake, many more followed.

            Better weather in sight?

              Reaching Ålesund

The departure was late because of a problem in the new renovated cabins.
At the moment Lofoten is in very good condition and the old lady shines like I have never seen before. But on an old ship it is impossible everything is perfect. A drain was blocked and so some cabins were wet.

A short stop in Kristiansund - no chance for a walk on land.

Maybe it would have been better to open a new thread for the anniversary cruise, some photos more to come. But too late now...

                      nice weather in Trondheim...

The next morning after meeting MS Polarlys I left the ship in Ørnes for some Photos

oh, I missed my boat. And curious - three Norwegians did the same.

I was not sure, if this is a good plan. Many times at home I looked at Marine traffic, if the speed boat is always just in time. Otherwise it would be very difficult to come back on board MS Lofoten.

                            Everything worked very good!
