This is great news! And it would actually make a lot of sense. She could do the "summer fjord cruises" that the MS Lofoten used to do some years ago for instance? And maybe go back to Svalbard?

I was just starting to catch up posting recent visiting cruise ships photos in the Scotland thread, when some cruise related post arrives from Estonia! –a booklet with details of optional shore excursions on the Norwegian coast part of Nordstjernen’s Svalbard cruise next month. (That “next month” sounds good doesn’t it!)

These excursions can be pre-booked now, and I suppose they hope that guests have sufficiently recovered from having paid the balance of the cruise cost and will now be tempted by the extras!

Whilst I might have been just as content to do my own thing on these stops, organised excursions are a Very Good Thing for successful survival with my…. errr…let’s just call him “cabin mate”. So I’m getting all the disagreements and decisions over and done with this afternoon!!!!!….
