    Dear Lady C,

Thank you very much for your kind comments.... the ship is like a bottle of wine: aged to perfection....

Here are the final images from that cold morning: departure blasts:

Ah such wonderful photos of the old lady ….

Well I’ll leave you all to decide… errrrr ….exactly which old lady…… lady NX of course! As there’s no cheeky comments (yet) maybe I fooled you all with the red rather than blue anorak! Just my misfortune to have this great photographer prowling around when he’s all geared up to getting super-sharp images to show every old cracked weather beaten bit of bodywork Amazingly I really like #1838/1 especially, and yes there in the next image /2 where I’m hiding behind the CVF logo.

For our newer members, this is Nordstjernen's last call in Trondheim in regular service, and you can see the “reverse pakarang views” photos I took here!

Thank you so very much for all these farewell images my dear Captain. The already mentioned #1838/2 is indeed a very special favourite and, along with the perfectly judged focussing and depth of field of #1838/3, and the wider view of #1843/1, poignantly captures the feelings of farewell that wet cold March morning.
