Finnmarken will not be leaving norway this year
So depature will be a date in january

    Comment

So her AIS position is correct (59.6056, 5.77014).

I had started to think they must have left the AIS unit behind in Norge to keep the Somali pirates off the scent. But now I'm wondering if they have simply run out of white paint?

Who is at "fault"? Not ready yet, or is Boskalis dragging their feet to sign the contract?????

Maybe she could return to coastal service one cruise as a white swan?

Well, she might be delayed but it's not that many days left of this year.

I said she looked great, but there could be, if anything, a stripe or something narrow on the hull side, just to break all the white up a bit.
If anything negative, she just might look a bit too much like a hospital vessel....

I really wonder what the reason for this long delay is.....? She should have been well under way to warmer waters by now, but as it was mentioned, it won't happen before we reach 2010 sometime.

Scenery dramaticly changed in one week, and this is a picture taken by Arne M. at Westcon today. Brrrrr...., COLD!!!!
According to the newspaper Haugesunds Avis a couple of days ago, she's all ship-shape and ready to go, but awaits clearance from Australia before leaving.
(Wonder what they will use that blue crane on top for? Mohahahahaha)

It's OK. I think they will just paint it white.

She actually looks very fine in white! Like a yacht... wonder how she would look in Norway blue....

I notice in the image, a large square shaped box in front of the funnel... that doesn't look too esthetically pleasing.
