Re: Hurtigruten - minute by minute

Speaking of the swedish version, you can watch it online here: http://svtplay.se/v/2659598/hurtigru...p173666,1,f,-1 There is two parts, 2 hours each. I saw both, and I actually enjoyed the SVT version alot more than the two hour highlights NRK sent this summer. I guess they have spent alot more time in the editing room. The highlights NRK sent aired only one day after the live program ended.

Thanks, that would have been a bit hard to find! How on the earth did you manage to remember that part?

Well, I did not remember exactely were it was, but I did remeber there is some nice long beaches after Ørnes, so I browsed through a few minutes, and there it was.

I agree with you very much, without music and narration, it lacks quite abit in performance. We associate music with memories, and these are perfect moments where music fills in the moments.

Not minute by minute, but during my last trip with Nordnorge during christmas and new year there has been a german tv team onboard.
They will show their film at christmas evening, I think it will also be available on Internet.
The german title shall be "Weihnachten auf dem Postschiff" meaning "Christmas on a coastal steamer".

Trying my luck at another video production from Hurtigrutens Dag in Rørvik, during the world's longest running live TV-show:

                      ... the world's longest running live TV-show:
That's one way to put it. Another is 100+ short TV shows and lots of "satellittskyggenett".

Our copy of Jan Olav's picture arrived from Norway today. Nice of them to put 4 DVDs in the packet with it!!

Wonderful to relive the summer - and to look out for the family - they're there on Disc 4 somewhere.
                          Cheers,
