Bradley engineering, http://www.bradeng.com/, is a company specialized in manufacturing remote controlled broadcast cameras. On their homepage they don't have anything like this model, but it could also be a specialized one. The camera located in front of the starboard bridge is a gyrostabilized Cineflex HD-camera.
It's almost a must to have a gyro stabilized camera to get steady shots in that hanging bow position, or when using a long zoom like on the SB front bridgecam.

21 June: It's Summer Solstice - longest day of the year, which is a big deal up above the arctic circle. Combined with Minutt for Minutt, I doubt if anyone will be sleeping tonight.

Indeed so. It's a wonderful time to be Norwegian, or just to be in Norway. They are very generous to share their excitement with the rest of the world in this way.

Is it true, what I heard on the news at 2 PM:

After massive demand from the public, NRK together with Hurtigruten has decided to continue filming also on the southbound voyage.
They said the news first broke at Facebook, but I can't open that site at work.

Someone who can confirm if I heared correct???

EDIT: Just heared it breifly, so I don't want to start anything here. Let that be clear.

Is it my imagination or does the lady interviewer have a knitted microphone? How does it work? They are supposed to be electronic.

Scenes in Båtsfjord, about 02:00 22 June 2011:

The reception 1: By the time the doors opened, the people on the quay were worked up to fever pitch.

The reception 2: Live music on the quay gave a party atmosphere. The broadcast quality of the music was very good - all credit to the sound recordists in the TV crew.

Unloading 1: The little yellow fork-lift truck (just below centre of picture) unloaded several pallets ....

Unloading 2: ... then a couple of cars were unloaded.
