Wow, this really is big then. I must visit NRK’s website.

Before I go to bed this early morning, I just want to post another Golden Reply from the facebook-site.

Re: Hurtigruten - minute by minute

                  Good morning everyone
Last night was awsome! We went out in the small boat and met Nordnorge when she passed the Hadselbridge. Because of my skeptical sisters and some waves we didn't go over Hadselfjorden, but It was fun anyway. Plenty of small boats, and even "Leonora" from http://arcticwhaletours.com/ came to see the arrival of Nordnorge.

There was almost an accident whe Nordnorge left the pier to, when a old man in a old sail boat almost got runned over. He was so close to the bow, that the mast on his boat almost got tangled in the "bowcamera" wires. The people on the bridge doesn't have any chance to see him in that position so that could have gone very wrong.
I really wonder what goes through people minds when they do stunts like that, this old man must have been blind and deaf not to notice that Nordnorge was leaving.

I will upload some pictures later
I really hope all of you enjoyed Trollfjorden, Raftsundet and Stokmarknes

Re: Hurtigruten - minute by minute

I just found out I can also see this from Singapore. Unfortunately it is streaming too slow for a continuous viewing.
Looks like they have hit a jackpot with this one. Everybody along the route is out there trying to get on TV by the look of things.

I want to thank you all who post screen shots from NRK!!!!
I'm at work and has no possible means of following the broadcast.
I tried the NRK web tv app on my iPhone around lunchtime today, and it worked perfect but broken.
In that matter, I have a question:
That little boat with that crazy person on board speeding up very close to the NNs bow around Gibostad, and continuing for a while crossing back and forth right in front of NN..., when did he stop that crazy act and did someone tell him to get away...?
(Just wondered, because that little boat irritated me on behalf of the crew on the bridge).
"IF GOD COULD MAKE ANGELS...., WHY IN HELL MAKE MAN?"

Hi Sterkoder!….Oh, I think I missed Gibostad and the boat you mention.
And Hi Olaf!…Love your photos from Harstad this morning. The second one in post #175 especially is simply stunning, such a sense if immediacy and movement.Thank you so much.

And Daniel has promised us photos later.

Meanwhile, this is what I’ve been watching on NRK:

                          Finnsnes

                          I nearly missed Finnsnes…

…but I was ready for arrival in Tromsø:

                            Such a nice welcome…

                            Oh, it’s BB Worker… Eskild???????were you around?

                              ...and from Nordnorge

It looked to be such a nice atmosphere…chefs from Rica hotel giving out refreshments, a drum band, reminders of the city’s polar connections with people dressed up as penguins and polar bears…

It just occurred to me that if my fellow CVF Official Photographer was around, I don’t actually know what he looks like! (…I don’t think either of us are too often in the Self-portrait thread!!!!) But he has a grandstand seat for Nordnorge’s departure.

Now who else said they might be in Tromsø?
Anyway until the photos start coming in, I hope these NRK screen shots will keep everybody happy and in touch with this amazing voyage.
