    One of the most beautiful fishing vessels I've seen is "Svanaug Elise" in Kristiansund today.
    This is yard nr. 68 from Eidsvik Skipsbyggeri AS in Uskedalen in 2001 to owner Kolbjørn Ervik & Sønner AS in Dyrvik.

    This very typical Japanese inshore fishing boat didn't actually catch any fish:

    They were on patrol to ensure that our 50,000 DWT Heavy Lift Carrier wasn't used to secretly do fishing while loading in their home water.

    Somewhat smaller but faster Fishing boats seen in Nagasaki, Japan these last few days:




    This may not actually be a Fishing boat, more like a Aquaculture boat:

    But we cannot have a thread for everything.
