Some permanent ballast in the double bottom would be my advise.

#1915: -"Hey, guys..., what's the smallest hull possible to put that supersized superstructure on top of...?" Looks....., well, I'll keep my mouth shut here :-)

Brittany Ferries Mont Saint Michel on the run between Portsmouth and Caen (Hi Yves!!) on a sunny November morning.

                    Inbound, between the forts.

Having a quick visit to the pub in Old Portsmouth.

                    Rushhour.

And a couple of hours later, on the way south again.

                    Cheers,

                    Mark.

Another Brittany Ferries vessel, Etretat, running between Pompey and Le Havre.

                      Aiming at the beach.

                      And nearly into the harbour.

                      Cheers,

                      Mark.

St Cecilia and St Helen pass each other in the restricted confines of the Harbour Entrance.

Hard to work where one starts and the other stops.

                        Cheers,

The ferries crossing the harbour between Gorgetown, Penang to Butterworth on the mainland is no beauties, even with the fancy paint jobs.
Here is the Red ferry, Pulau Payar:

And the Green Ferry, Pulau Angsa:

The ferries are double-ended and with two-level car decks. Here is the ferry terminal on the Georgetown side:
