In contrast to the near new and highly sophisticated CSV Normand Clough, here is another vessel servicing the same basic purpose, but in shallow waters only.

May I present details of the Support and Accommodation vessel "Trinity Revival", originally built as the Japanese Research Vessel "Kaiyo Maru" in 1976. Since then she has had several owners; 88 GSI MERLION - 93 MERLION - 03 SARKU SIPADAN - 08 TRINITY REVIVAL.

Pictures are from Oct. 2009 at Eastern Anchorage, Singapore.

    High Pressure Washing system:

    Piped throughout the vessel.

    Mechanical Workshop:

    with Lathe Machine:

And finally, the Engine Control Room (ECR):

That should be enough details from one ship, even for the self-confessed "detail freaks" among the CVF members.

PS> Majority of the pictures are from April, 2010, only some from the recent visit to this ship in Chiwan, China.
