I still catch myself feeling flattered and giggling when reading about the pakarang-view of ships......

It's pretty incredible that all of you still keep on serving these wonderful photos.... I almost feel like you are doing it especially for me.

    Thank you all!

Just half an hour after passing the former MIKAL WITH, another current WITH came by... the WITH JUNIOR:

Kind of cool with that person in the mast.
          BTW no Richard With?

Finally, I would like to share some pakarang's of BIT VIKING... taken at great distance (several kilometers, in total darkness, handheld, full ISO):

Very nice additions, Tommi... I especially liked the last one of Mariella at sea.

Thanks for the kind words. New Zealand is a beautiful country and as you can imagine I took lots of photos during my 3 weeks there. Just need to find the time to sort them out now! Will post some more both shipping and general over the next few weeks.

Patrick - I'm sure you realise that Kaitaki used to be the 'Isle of Innisfree'? Used to spend her time going between the UK and Ireland - amongst other things.

Do keep the photos coming - it's great to see somewhere different.
                      Cheers,

                      Mark.

Yes I know that. I remember her well on the Rosslare Pembroke route for Irish Ferries. We sailed on her from Picton to Wellington. Nice trip with some great scenery. Will try and get round to uploading some pics of the ferries that sail between the north and south island soon. Also have a lot of the 1912 built TSS Earnslaw so will have to get them up as well.

Hi Patrick - although I live just across a very small pond from NZ (but will have direct access with Singapore Airlines in September), I have never been there; my excuse is that Norway got in the way too often....

                      Ahem.

In Trondheim harbour. Do cormorants count?
