Re: Cruise Ships of the World

    Great lamp-post!
And I'm actually looking for a car like one of those on your pictures.
    Sweet little barge, isn't it?

MS Le Boreal, compagnie du Ponant, docking at Caen harbor last week.
Her home harbor is Mata Utu, Wallis et Futuna islands, French Polynesie.
I’ll be aboard her brand new sistership Le Soleal next July from Lisbon to Reykjavik.

Make sure to take many pictures about your cruise. I instantly fell in love with Le Boreal when I first saw here on a TV show. I can not wait to hear how you like her sister ship and the line.

            Hi Dane.
For sure I'll warm up my camera and of course share on CVF.
I'm not a cruise customer(except Hurtigruten, not really a cruise) but I was attracted by the program, the rather original route and, first of all,by "human-sized" dimension of the ship.
Here is the Ponant website www.ponant.com well done with few videos and an English version.

I would actually preferred to photograph her from a bit lower level, but the higher view made these kinds of shots possible.

Built in Germany as the Skyward in 1969 and still cruising in the region.

PS> Notice the home port; Malakal Harbour in the Palau Islands. Not a very common flag for Cruise ships, or any other kind of ships. First time I have seen this.
Here is a link to some facts about Malakal Harbour: http://www.noonsite.com/Countries/Pa...=ShoreServices

Those add-ons for the former Skyward just looks terrible - I'm sorry to say.
