WAOW... this is a very busy day I must say... ! Holy belony!

The nicest one of them... the last one to arrive... a former Royal Viking.... perhaps the Albatros?

The hurtigruten must be a Stralsund-class ship if my eyes aren't in a too bad state. But which one, it's too hard for me to guess.

In my teenage years, when I started looking at cruise ships, I used to love this cute vessel:

Hello Jan Olav-- You are right a nice looking little ship. A little OCEANIC and SOUTHWARD combined. Unfortunately she has gone to scrap. Go to www.maritimematters.com and see Peter Knego's latest report.

And as if to prove the point - following those beauties from Joe, here's Costa (Neo) Romantica, in the Baltic last Thursday night. Looking like a block of flats welded to something else - don't even know what! Interesting bow wave and shape of the water flow along her hull though.

                Cheers,

Well, they hardly had the best of weather for it, but all seven P&O ships were in Southampton for the first (and possibly last) time ever yesterday to celebrate the lines 175th Birthday.

Wish I'd been there - must have been magnificent.

The P&O website is pretty good:

She looks good Joe! They scattered all over the place when they went - Amsterdam, Bergen, Gothenburg, La Corunna, Malaga and Dublin.
