As many may have heard, NCL is building two new ships at Meyer Werft.... Norwegian Getaway, and the Norwegian Breakaway:

The names may be very catchy, but also at the same kind of peculiar...

Have anyone seen any better renderings of the new exterior of these ships?

At least it doesn't look like an EPIC sister:

                    How does a NORWEGIAN cruise?

The Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Getaway:

Deck plans are still to be revealed in many areas of the ship:

The new NCL cruise ships do not attract me in any way, too big, too many people and limited to ports of call. I will go back to my Pacific Princess for any future cruising. I may even go smaller as i quite fancy some of the river cruises.

Some day I hope to meet you aboard Pacific. Westerdam has been the largest ship I've cruised and my wife and I have decided we are not doing it again. Pacific has been our favorite and is probably as large a ship as we will cruise again.

                          Dear all,

Just started thinking about two of the NCL ships.... the Norwegian Sea (former Seaward), Norwegian Dream (former Dreamward) and the Norwegian Wind (former Windward)...

What happen to these three ships?

Are they still in service, or are they decommissioned?

I think the Wind is sailing under Star Cruises as SuperStar Aquarius but I can't find the Dream anywhere??

Norwegian Sea is sailing under Star Cruises as SuperStar Libra I think...

In addition to my post a few minutes ago, how about this one... a former white ship, the Starward was it?:

I would love to see us all start sharing some more pictures and stories of the former NCL ships, come on, surprise me...
