    from Wikipedia:
According to SOLAS should the sight on the sea surface from the bridge not hindered by more than two ship lengths, or 500 metres, which of the two is the smallest.

yes i know that a lot of them are empty, also that costumers get a hc container for the price of a db box, just to get them cheaper overthere.
and just what the article says, also that laid up vessels just were sailing the ports to collect as much as possible empty containers for Azia.
but the vessels are getting bigger, so that would be the need anymore, just topped the vessels with mt's (empty's)
but we had a time that they just sailed half full to azia, but maybe other ports in the line would stack them full with mt's
