    SINGAPORE SPIRIT at anchor near my home today. 171,59 meters long, 27 meters wide. Arrived from Rotterdam, waiting to get her space at the quay in Sunndalsøra and Hydro Aluminium.

    Nice new additions, and thank you so much for sharing! I never get tired of looking at ships and images of them.

    JOHAN RUUD looks like a really cute vessel! Actually reminds me of one of those stern-loading ferries popular in the past.

    The tanker Norsel into Tromsø this morning
    The ship supplies the fishing fleet with bunkers and goes regularly to Svalbard.

    The R/V Johan Ruud north Tromsø strait this morning,was built in 1976 at Sterkoder Mekaniske Verksted Ltd., Kristiansund (Norway) as a stern trawler for multipurpose research activities (fishery and marine biological, geological and oceanographic surveys) in open waters along the coastline and fjord areas.
    Owner: The Royal Norwegian Government
    Management: The Norwegian College of Fishery Science/The University of Tromsø.

    the ''anangel mariner'' is partly discharging her load, her beam is to much for the canal to Amsterdam. she had to pass 2 tunnels which make a max of the depth of the canal.
    thatswhy they discharge the cargo into barges that she can pass those tunnels

    the ''star despoina'' had discharged her load of ore at the tata steel factory in the port of ijmuiden. Again multi tasking on a early morning
