The Shenandoah Highway was in for something like 4-5 hours.

"Nordsyssel" has completed its assignment for the Governor of Svalbard for this season.
Here she is on the trip south to Mo I Rana (where she is laid up a few months) after a stop in Tromsø last friday.

Oh, and you have full winter up there as well... !

The ship is leased by The govenor of Svalbard every year from May to December.
It's used for transportation of the personnel and equipment for the field observers from the Govenors office, emergency preparedness in case of accident or disaster on or around the islands.
The ship has a helipad so it can be used as a base for helicopter.
And once a year they take a trip around most of the coastline to clean up trash.

Here is an article about a ship of a very different type and size: http://marineinsight.com/news/the-cm...-cma-cgm-asia/

Maersk will soon introduce their Triple E Class, with a capacity of 18,000 TEUs.
                          Where is the limit????
