Oh, i am very pleased to see that part, which did not fit in our 1 1/2 day visit! A must-place for our next visit!!
Nice pictures of Nelson Mandela, although she is loosing a lot of her character with that refurbishment - see the funnel!

Ralf, you would certainly enjoy the Cube Houses, there is such an atmosphere of being in a little world of its own. I am interested now in seeing those at Helmond, built a little earlier in 1975. Helmond is not far from Nuenen which I visited in 2011 on my van Gogh trail.

But back to Rotterdam, these show the bwdroom, there is just enough room for the bed!

Keeping the window shut would be the last thing on your mind after you'd got out of that bed and cracked your head on the ceiling!

That map is excellent to show the location of the Cube Houses.
I do like your images of the bookcase. Looking at the last one, those figures on the second and third shelves make me think immediately of the Lord of the Rings. They are beautifully made.

The window at which Thijs' photo above was taken is down at floor level behind the blue chair in the following picture:

Oh this is wonderful, I really think a cube house would suit me, and you two have got me imagining just what I'd put where!

I'd start with a crash helmet. Those ceilings are sooooo low, and lots of lovely angles to crack heads open with. You'd end up walking with a permanent 'lean'.

No no not at all, Polo I’m convinced it would delight and enhance my spatial awareness!

It looks amazing and even cozy. But i think it is very strange to look out of the windows. Either you look down or up. No clear direct view in the landscape.
But definitively very creative and impressing.
