    I have followed all instructions at apple.com, but now, all my details such as contacts, memos, and calendar events are gone....!

    This is actually not as simple as it sounds...

    And now, my phone seems to be disconnected while still connected....:

      Nope, but I do have to say that APPLE has a wonderful support chat.

      The problem was so far not found, and after a lot of trial and error, the problem was escalated up to a more senior techie.

        DOUBLE and TRIPLE ARRRGHHHH....

        The techies sent me a mail today: they have an issue with MobileMe and seem to have discovered a bug in the system. It appears as if I have to wait another 48 hours (+weekend) for a general update of the iPHONE software...

        Will they call it the "Storli-Update" or the "Storli-Bug"?
