This will be my private thread for my new one year long commitment. I hope and pray I will be able to fulfill my pledge and commitment, and I hope and pray all those that have promised to follow my lead to also do the same.

It's a long way ahead, 365 images to be exact, and having done it once before, I know how much of a commitment it is.

I might not be right on time throughout the year (due to work and travels), but I do promise that each and ever image in this thread is taken on that actual day.

So join me in making this year magical, join me with your own threads and let me see that you all are made up of your commitment.

Change and every long journey always starts with the very first step.

My first image was taken to see how far (or not) the spring has come along on May 1st 2011... it'll be exiting to see in one year what the same view will be like... if I'm at all is still living at the same place.

This is the beginning of my one year long journey: a journey of one photo every day for one full year.

I do hope and pray that this will be a good year together, that it will be the best year ever and that at the end, I will have been able to complete the project.

My second day features a sunrise from "my office" at just before five o'clock in the morning, from the bridge of Korsfjord alongside the ferry dock at Flakk:

The third image was inspired by a Thai friend of mine, the movie is way out in the future...

The 4th image was taken close to Dora, on the way home from another night watch on the ferry. I actually drove by, and had to turn around and go back to get this interesting image.

What a beautiful start, a true beginning with the light green so fresh I feel the buds are unfolding as I look at it. I hope there will be more versions of this view later. I was sure there would be something like Day 2 on day2 because I had been following Korsfjord and your work shift…but to have caught the exact moment of sunrise is awesome (such a contrast to my supposed-to-be-a-sunrise photo the previous day!) And what a catch for day 4.

AND …… “The Captain” is just SO creative!
It just occurred to me that my “tag line” in the introduction to my 366 fits this image too… even though I have to think up and down for my sky and stones rather than side to side!
Oh I so love doing these projects together.

Start and Running! –It’s like the project so far at this early stage isn’t it ….we’ve started and we’re running…
…and then in Day 6 a reminder how we help and support each other in this endeavour.

You’ve taken a fine tribute to the war veterans. Then day 9, and a rather special version of the “pakarang view” with the emphasis on the windows and reflections…and the similar colours of green and yellowy-light-brown at Rotvoll….
For once I don’t have a favourite because I love the whole sequence (though, ummmm, if I could only keep one it probably would have to be “Help me if I fall”)
