Don't be so daft. Anyone can see it's a sparrow.

The photos are excellent, Thijs. Of them all there is just one that stands out for me and that is the second one in post 9. The head, with its bright clear eye, is beautifully in focus and there is just sufficient blurring of the wings to show motion but not enough to obscure the flight feathers.
This is a great new thread, thank you.
Come on Ralf, here's looking forward to your shots.

i had more of flying birds, but bad focust,1 chance only but they are to fast to capture.
better to have cornels setting, multyshots in a second, one of them had to bee good.
wait on the images of the other 3 members, what they have.

the only bird, the european owl you get to take on your arm (1euro,but you may as many shots you want) so lot of close ups of hem/her.
there were some others to but to bad to show.
our other son went to another birdshow are they got the american eagle,
                DAMN

                and we dont
                best regards Thijs

                    Re: Animal shows

Looking forward to more, Thijs. A fearsome glare in that first one, isn't it? I love that second pic., it's a beautiful shot. I took my friend Constance to a Suffolk sanctuary a few years ago because I had adopted a bird for her as a birthday present, it was a Dutch owl but I can't remember which particular one it was now. They had a display of some of the birds flying free which was very impressive, lovely to see them swoop right down to the bait held by the trainer.

                      Re: Animal shows

wel he had told wich birds they are,but diddn't remember them all.
but i think that they use the same as every other falconer,it just had to do for which kind of hunting you use them.

the reason that we went to the highland games.
