Correction - more pictures of Dutch windmills AND DUCKS than of ships.

Thanks for reminding me (accidentally!). Is that a frying pan I see before me?
    Cheers,

    Mark.

the thick yellow line is kinderdijk, the red square is the ''vessel''

those are storage sheds Mark discised as a passingervessel.
with a painted bow and stern.
the ''superstructur''e are offices and i believe that in the funnel is a restaurant.

in the bow is a spiral for cars to go up to the cardeck and at the stern a spiral that's go down thin yellow line's
you can see the trucks which are docked at the shelters,so i'ts big.
i come there too from time to time

but thanks for spoiling this one for me Mark.
i was intending to use this ''vessel'' as a ''what place is this'' if i manege to solve a puzzle again.
      again THANKS,fellowmember.
      where is that frying pan?
beware that pan may come from another direction than you have expected

Thanks for that Thijs - really interesting, I suppose it seemed like a good idea at the time when they built it!

Sorry for ruining your plans for 'where in the world'!
        Cheers,

        Mark.

i can tell you,but you wouldend remeber it anymore, but i believe you have seen this one too
it's on the way from Giessen to Zaltbommel and the mill was already here in this thread and you replied at it.

but you do know holland just as good as me,so i thought it was not worth to mention it

I like those, Thijs. Although it's winter there is a soft, warm light over it all. Nice detail on the body of the mill, and that prancing white horse visible in the second photo is unusual, I think.

A few details of the old windmill at Brielle. Going at a fair old tilt despite only a gentle breeze.

There's a deer at the top of that windvane in Mark's last photo. Unusual. The sails turn as fleet as the deer runs.

If I'd noticed that, I'd have taken a better shot of it! It's rather cute isn't it.

on a early misty morning in Holland.
