      The decline or French intellectuals is a recurrent subject in the public debate in my country. Therefore, it was a good surprise to read the study written by Sudhir Hazareesingh, teacher in politics at the University of Oxford. We always learn from the others.
      I think he caught a lot of French reality by a pertinent approach of how we are a bit schizophrenic on this subject, sometimes proud of ourselves sometimes thinking we have the worst thinkers in the world. However, always convinced that the production of ideas is the more important thing a man can do!
      This book got prizes here. That means we are schizophrenic...…as well as masochistic.
