THAT feeling when the first like you receive on a picture post at Instagram, is from the company that built your car. (love)

I kind of love this image, despite it's extremely grainy quality:

Thijs, your comment reminds me of English author Evelyn Waugh who, in about 1950, gave his son Auberon (who later became an author in his own right) just one lesson on the subject of the "birds-and-the-bees". Fortunately, the lesson was given in written form and has survived to this day.

He wrote, "the pleasure is momentary, the position ridiculous, and the expense damnable".

Yes, the only more expensive than a car are woman.
    ;D : D and maybe yachts

But it will cost me nothing this time, had the car for 4 weeks and i got a 6 month guarantee on it.
Better it happend now than next summer.

Hope and pray that the final bill won't be too high. I think we all know by now, that owning a car is an incredible unknown expense.

Yesterday i called the garage how it is at this moment.
the engine get a complete overhaul.
the engine head is to a specialized company for a overhaul, the garage do the engine block there self meaning a new piston , mew piston springs at every piston , etcetcetc.
they hope i get him back end of next week.

there was a fault in the engine, that destroyed the turbo what even moore destroyed the engine, by overflooding the engine with oil.

Insurance companies only want to cash, never pay.
I had it too once, just one simple solution for that.
Smash your window. Then they have to pay.

Ralf, talking of Morgan, do you get to see "Wheeler Dealers" in Germany - one classic restoration per episode? The Morgan episode is one of the very best.

Yeah... there are always some "Monday cars" ... but despite some setbacks and some faults, I'm generally extremely happy with the car.

Annoying that things occasionally breaks down but what can we do.

I would have sold the car, or seriously considered it, if there was a proper bus-service to Flakk... but with only a handful buses going to Flakk every day, I can't rely on taking a bus.

And since I have the car, I have done a few drive-for-hire to support myself.
