Captain, this tandem is about 33 years old and has covered only about 700 miles. For many years, I haven't risked injuring anyone either. But that's about to change because a friend really wants to take it out for a ride. We are currently in the process of servicing every part of it to make sure it is safe and looks good.

I can understand keeping most of that stuff, but FOUR lawn mowers, Clipper?

Hahaha. I may not forget to post a picture in here, as soon as my Midget moved in my garage after leaving his winter home. I am just frightened of listing up all that other stuff, which lives there... very similar look to yours!!

Picture above was taken with wide angle lens, making garage doorway look too small. The car is actually minute and fits in easily, plus THREE BICYCLES, several shelf/cupboard units, a desk, a leather recliner, a double gate-leg dining table, a flat-pack chest of drawers, two dining chairs, two Black & Decker workmates, an old Garrard record deck, a Yamaha keyboard, a Casio keyboard, an Akai reel-to-reel tape recorder, four lawn mowers, two ladders, several tool boxes, heaps of other tools, several crates of car and bicycle parts ..... and stuff I have forgotten about!!!

My thoughts entirely, Ralf. But then these days nobody uses the garage to keep the car in. It's just an overlow storage area, a sort of downstairs attic. Clipper probably keeps his bikes in there.

Spring and Cappuccino... I'm thinking of a good spring cleaning too, but weather forecasts calls for snow, sleet and rain for the whole rest of the week.

I can't wait to spend many hours cleaning my car and making it ready for a new summer season. I think I will go for another "winter-car" next winter, while the Jag gets a rest.

Isn't this car way to oversized for your garage?

haha ...sounds like a whole new slant on the concept of "Spring Cleaning"!

Great weather today. Time for the Cappuccino to have its annual wash.

Hi back, Clipper! That would fit in the "Off the vessel - OVERTIME". Section which is right at the bottom of the home page. Your idea is a different slant on some music topics lurking there (such as "What are you listening to right now" and a Desert Island discs thread).
So why not create a new thread in that section? - Go to the section, press the blue +New Topic button at the top, enter your title, and then make the first post in the usual way.

Hi Cecilia, I was thinking about the Moody Blues only yesterday. Maybe they had featured on TOTP2 the previous evening? Or maybe it was Elvis singing Moody Blue?

I have Every Good Boy Deserves Favour on vinyl. It's probably the least played of all my old albums.

Idea - "My Old Vinyl Collection" might make an interesting topic. I wonder what treasures/horrors might crawl out of the woodwork. Where in the forum might that fit?
