Centuries.... eternity, and as you said "long long time ago". In popular language it just means "ages", which can be weeks, months or years. My dictionary suggests "eeuwigheid" in Nederlands.

not that i had done notthing the past time at the model
but already started to finish the cab

sprayed the last parts of the manure trailer in the clear paint.

the cab went wel, everything fitted well

      the trailer became a disaster

a lot of part, those iny tinyparts just broke so quickly ,so week.
the big mud screens did'nt fit well, maybe that it had to stored to long and those fitting points bent or something

also the ladder was broken, so i had to make some extra anchorages.
the gleu on the spots where to tiny to fit, so it would never fastened.
i had made some brackets halfway ,and now i had mm's of extra to gleu

You know, that does look smart! Did you have much trouble repairing the mudflaps, for they look fine now. At first I was puzzled at to what the pieces between the rear wheels were, because the way the light shone on the flap ends it looked as if they were just pieces of angled tubing and I couldn't work out what they were. But then in later photos it was clear that they were just the ends of the mudflaps caught by the light and the rest of each flap showed more clearly.
If I see a trailler like that I'll know all about it now, but I doubt whether anything that big will come through Bungay - it would soon get stuck somewhere!
Good work, Thijs, and it's lovely to see you busy on your great models again.

the mudscreens arn't broken ,but the suspention point looks as they where bent, the screens are somewhat tilted
those whole silver collored pieces are the mudscreens of stainless steel, the went over all of the axles as one piece.
those tubing between the wheels is the cycle underdrive protections bars. the first and third axle are steeringaxles
if the trucks of Eddy Stobart can deliver goods at the building company near your house, then this type of trucks cn also get there.
in fact they are even shorter than ''normal'' trucks.manure have a high specific weight of it's own.
they load the manure at farms, and that are not Always the places with the most of spaces
