i'm satisfied with how the manure tank is now,so when i have the decals i can finish this model.
but it's for my own,so no hurry. no place for it too.
also the primer on the 2 trailer hoods are good now,so can spray them in color too

the diesel and ad-bleu tanks are ready for the HC

Thanks Mark. but it's hopeless like this.
it's painting over painting over painting, very diffecult to reach al the deatails .
but there warn't any model kits for sale anymore last year,so had to buy already build models.
luckly the cab is white, otherwise i had to remove that paint aswel

It's magnificent Thijs. The amount of care and skill you put into these - I could never get the painting and detailing right, but you manage it every time.

spray painted the menure tank. AGAIN

also filled the trailer hoods with low-density fillers, and sanding and fillig again and sanding and filling again and sanding. I also sprayde the trailer hoods with the primer.
Just as the menure tank i didn't look how they are now, just leave them to dry very well, though the paint and primer are totally dry within a few hours

finally did smething on the models, after more than a week at home for holliday.
and not even at the models which i already started wirh, noooooo i started at completly others
    pfffffff

i started ar the Mercedes trucks, which when ready they should look like the Highway Cruiser.

i bought some years back 2 basis models, for the reason there weren't kits for sale anymore.
but thats oke more or less they were white so less work for me.

the models as how i bought them

    http://www.tekno.nl/nl/mercedes-benz...pace-6x2.html#

    pritty much the Highway Cruiser

    disassembled

this is the difference between the HC and the model, the HC don't have a V8 engine

    yes China.
it issn't that great for collecters.
many problems so it seems .
there numbering of collors are different of what we use in the West.
so a company have the livery of surten color numbers,
when they com e over to hollans it's a total other truck.
so much time its spend to find matchijng colors.
now it's goes better,if they send the right paint over to China, i don't know.

they made the drawings here to produce the mold, but if they make that in China or in here, i don't know.
