finally did smething on the models, after more than a week at home for holliday.
and not even at the models which i already started wirh, noooooo i started at completly others
    pfffffff

i started ar the Mercedes trucks, which when ready they should look like the Highway Cruiser.

i bought some years back 2 basis models, for the reason there weren't kits for sale anymore.
but thats oke more or less they were white so less work for me.

the models as how i bought them

    pritty much the Highway Cruiser

    disassembled

this is the difference between the HC and the model, the HC don't have a V8 engine

    yes China.
it issn't that great for collecters.
many problems so it seems .
there numbering of collors are different of what we use in the West.
so a company have the livery of surten color numbers,
when they com e over to hollans it's a total other truck.
so much time its spend to find matchijng colors.
now it's goes better,if they send the right paint over to China, i don't know.

they made the drawings here to produce the mold, but if they make that in China or in here, i don't know.

there is now an independent driver which made the same livery on his truck

but anyway,i had choosen the wsi, because the model is more like the Original, except the colors are the light,
also the tekno model wasn't availeble anymore

2 manufacturies made the truck, wsi and tekno
    so which is the best?

    tekno

    wsi

the colors are better on the tekno, but, they made the wrong roof and made it also bleu,
while wsi made the right roof and keep that part white like the origenal.
i'm talking about the roof part near the lightbox where '' globetrotter'' stands

also keep wsi the mirrors black ,while tekno made them bleu,
and there are some other parts not right on the tekno model

The F12 was some kind of "dream truck" when I was a kid in the 80's. I remember them very well.

The VOLVO F12 was so common decades ago - I can remember them very clearly.

Now, there ain't many left of them here in Norway. Perhaps not even abroad either.
