What, what, what? I ain't dun nuffin.
I'll send you €€12 euros and then you can buy 6 more.
But they must be very brittle, Thijs, to break so easily, for I know you would be very careful. Oh, what a shame after all your efforts to get things exactly right. Save up more pennies for two more bars and then you will have to resign yourself to putting them on without the bends, as you'd really like. Oh, I am so sorry.

My insight in trucks is the same as yours in vessels.
We both work every day with them.

There were already blown away a lot in the morning.
After 3pm it was almost windstil.
    Weird world

with containers it's not that bad to drive as with sail trailers. and the empty completer truck weights 23tons
sthe teel sides of the container,so the wind don't get an easy grip on them.

easy to talk for you, those darn small things costs me 2 € each

Working on so highly detailed models must give you a very valuable insight in the real trucks.

A very professional trucker! Glad you made it home before the strong winds hit!

the base model is in fact the HC.
i only need some extras, like the horns, the lightbar , some other extra lights other tanks and the 4 SS wheels.and tyres and chrome rings and a fire extinguisher and wheel chocks
al those things fit at any truck (except the roof lightbar) also in 1:1, the Original

if i broke down a piece there are some places to order new ones, and much much more

    http://modeltruckparts.nl/english/Index-en.htm

if you want you can look here for parts, but if not welknown in this stuf, it soon will dazzle you.
but click to parts, choose a page and the whole page show up to choose what you want and need
al bleu numbers, click on them and image opens
and than you can order what you need

or go to this one, wich is now the main shop. first it was the modeltruckparts

    https://www.bemomodels.com/en/home/homepage-286

click in the bleu stripe what you search for, then click in the new page in the verticle menu what you search for and so on and everything show up in images,
stil you have to know what you need, even me.
sometimes it's a struggle to found what i want or need

thanks of the storm (windforce11) i was back at home at 12am on Thursday, many trucks (67) were blown on there side complete or partly
mostly the east european and german mautkillers, only 7 dutchies.

so after watching the live television about the storm i went up the gallic to do something

like bending a DAF super space cab lightbar into a HC lightbar
those are made of 1mm thick plastic.
so had to mah=ke 2 of them,at the end i had to use 4.
    two broke

on the silver grey DAF cab the origial, and the bended on the HC

also drilled the holes foor the airhorns

i had placed the wrong images in a post, here the right one

also from the second cab painted the backpiece black.
now i have to drill the holes in the roof for the airhorns emergency lights and the lightbar
then i can start at the container chassis

And when you order a kit, they are complet for what you want to build
Yes, I know, but you couldn't get kits for the HC type truck, so you had to buy ready made models, take them to pieces and then rebuild. So I wondered how you were able to find all the tiny parts which you knew would fit the HC and not other types. Different makes of trucks can't be so similar that a kit of universal parts would fit all of them. For example, you had to fiddle about with the wheel rings to get the right size, so what about all those other things in #602.2?????
And in the prescription stands what is what.
Yes, but it won't say it is for the HT type because there are no matching kits for them. So master modeller has to fiddle about with all those minute bits.
    Patience!!!
