I'm at Oslo airport and staying at this hotel once again...you will have to wait for the photo, but it will be worth it! I'm in a Maritime style room this visit...blue striped curtains and a couple of those popular America's Cup prints, and the bed is aligned diagonally in the room, which is nice. but the real delight is the airport view...I can see planes out of the window!...AND the two sets of double glazed windows, 15cm apart, both actually OPEN! I was taking photos within seconds of walking into the room!

Very exotic... was that a hotel across the street as well, the one with the yellow canvass?

The glorious (not) view from our room in Athens. The location was great, right next to the pedestrian district and just around the corner from the Acropolis but the view was not spectacular.

    Day looking left.

    Night looking right.

&*^% I forgot to take pictures of my hotel rooms. At least I remembered to get photos of the view from two of the hotels.

Hotels in Norway tend to be just that: expensive.

I normally stay only in hotels if my employer pays for the room.

The view faced onto the restaurant terrace.

Turning slightly to the right, I also took the cloud reflections in the windows opposite for my photo of the day.

The room looked out over an atrium which is the hotel’s breakfast room.

…and here is the reverse view taken during breakfast. I left the light on and curtains open so I could show you my room’s location…if you look very closely you can even make out that my travel mascot Sea-Troll is keeping an eye on me from up there!!!!!
