Thank you for bringing this ship back to our attention. I had not seen the original thread, so i found it very interesting. I wonder if she is still there now?
Looks like it will be a very expensive job to remove her, and not the easiest of sites to work by the look of it. And no doubt there are strong currents flowing in the river to make it even harder. I bet the people that own the berth are none too happy about the whole affair! I am also wondering what became of the 'Motor Yacht Kay', i can find nothing on the net about her now, all i could find was picture of her on the website of the company that converted her. I wonder if she ever became the exploration ship that was planned? Does she still exist, or did all the plans fail and she was scrapped?
