Pakarang, you did know what Suzanne looked like you know, ‘cos I did. . . . EP-365 Day 9 October 10, 2009 -Flamingo Chicks, (you even said Hello in #28 )
(With Crystal Symphony approaching Trondheim you don’t even need to apologise! )

But while I’m in a 365 OT detail geek mood, E, could that have been the only E365 with a double border i.e.the green bit inside the pink?

Well, as the Captain is away, I feel it's my duty to post a FEW pictures of the adventures of his baby-bear with me this summer....

We FINALLY had the chance to meet up when Lady C met E in Rome. Having our photo taken with Sea Troll obviously caused E a laughing fit...

When we visited the Trevi Fountain, I decided to attempt to sneak in a swim...

and ALMOST made it...

Before Auntie C. helped me think better of it and I settled for a very cute pic.

After we visited the Pantheon--a very old and very impressive building filled with memorials to the famous people of Rome (though completely devoid of the famous bears of Rome) we stopped for coffee.

I had a bear-sized espresso and gazed out at the lovely Italian piazza.

After lunch, we went to St. Peter in Chains Church near the Colosseum. There's a statue of Moses (with HORNS) by Michaelangelo and the chains that bound the apostle Peter when he was imprisoned for preaching Christianity. We walked down toward the Colosseum to catch a taxi and I borrowed E's niece Emerson's video camera.

and Sea Troll acted as my director while we played "Let's Make a Movie". (I don't think James Cameron or Steven Spielberg has anything to worry about).

But Emerson gave me a hug, which was nice!!! She's so sweet and became one of my best friends!

and Elizabeth's brother, Will (who we all call "Uncle Woo") gave me a ride when my feet got tired!

That's all for now...but there will be more photos later!!!!!

Thank you so much, so happy and glad LC go to make so many new friends. He still looks as adorable as before, but honestly, has he been a bit spoiled by his aunts? It looks like he´s gained a few pounds of weight?

I know that Lookchin is going to appear soon in a variety of adventures with his Auntie C, so I figure I need to show some more holiday snaps...

Before we left Auntie C and Rome for Civitavecchia and Crystal Symphony, we took a quick stroll and Lookchin got to see everything from E's backpack.

We then got aboard the bus and were off to the ship.

We had a relaxing day getting settled (there's not much to to at the port!) and our darling stewardess Marija made Lookchin QUITE comfy when she turned down the bed.

The next day, in Pisa, Lookchin did the typical touristy thing...held up the Leaning Tower!!

Lookchin writes:
Hello Auntie E! I’m sooooo glad you have more photos of me ‘cos Auntie C won’t let me show any new ones until you’ve caught up a bit more!
She did nearly let me when she got a mail from my Daddy saying he was looking forward to seeing what I’d been doing –I think she imagined she was being told off for not apparently doing anything with me, when in fact she was just giving you time to catch up. Then I pointed out that Daddy had sent the mail just before his busiest week on the ferry, when clearly he was catching up on correspondence and things –he’d probably only just read that I’d arrived back in Scotland!

I told Auntie C that I was glad she wasn’t with us at Pisa! She probably misunderstood that remark too. It was just that I was afraid she might have wanted to re-inact Galileo’s supposed experiment, dropping me and Sea-Troll (who is as light as a feather) from the top of the leaning tower. But look, we could have got caught up in that sticking out reinforced bit that’s been added, and missed the rest of the cruise!

I preferred to be safely in bed having my photo taken impersonating the “cool” smiley . . .

You bet he is!!!!! He has struck up quite some relationship with Berns the Duck (you know, Swedish duck, wears cool shades all the time). I’ve actually had to send Berns away so that I can get Lookchin to concentrate on a photoshoot tomorrow . . . at last the weather has improved sufficiently, but the pair of them want to go swimming and photographing each other all the time the moment the sun comes out. . .
