    This thread started back at our old board ( http://captainsvoyage.7.forumer.com/...pic.php?t=1034 ) and I have chosen to continue here in this thread.

    Here is an image of HSC Agdenes doing some service between Namsos, Rorvik and Leka while Namdalingen was at her dry dock service this December: dated December 11th 2008:

    Nice design... does this HSC carry cars as well?

    I love the fact that they still have the FFR flag painted on the side!

    "Renøy" can take 3 cars on deck.

    "Fjorddronningen II" on her way in to Tromsø thursday morning. This HSC was used before on Tromsø - Harstad - Tromsø route,before she was replaced by the new one in 2005.She is laid up most of the time in Tromsø as a reserve vessel.

    Is HRG still running the HSC routes in and around Tromsø?

    This info is to read on HRG site.

    Hurtigruten operates five boat lines in the county of Troms. These are managed by Torghatten North.

    "Fjordprinsessen" on her way to Skjervøy this afternoon.The weather changed from sun to snow at the same time.There is definetly not spring in the north yet.

    BTW,there is some rumors that HRG is ready to sell this HSC.Some people from a Greek shipping company was onboard her before Easter to have a look.
    We have to wait to see what's happening further.

    The 539 gross tons and 41,30 meter long HSC "Steigtind" owned by Hurtigruten Group and operated by Torghatten Nord: currently on the Bodø - Svolvær - Bodø run.

    Propulsion effect 4640 kW and capable of carrying 212 passengers at speeds of around 30 knots.
