Awesome images: the scenery you have up there is just the perfect backdrop to your fantastic images!

Queen Victoria will call Bergen July 3, and Geiranger July 4, this summer (2010).
    Not Flåm; how sad!

i wanted to see her again after that rainy day last year,
the weather forcast?? was good,so nothing stands in our way.
    yeah wright

cruiseport gave a eta time 12.30h/1.30pm
port of Rotterdam gave a eta 04.00h/4.00am
(thats the time they bring the pilot on board,so not the time she sails in to port, that will be about 45 minutes later)
yesterdayevening i looked at marinetraffic (vesseltracker) she was coming from zeebrugge belgium, she was already near the coast of holland.
    marinetraffic gave a eta 01.45

    oooookeeeeee,that brings light in darkness

looked this morning at 6.25 at marinetraffic she was almoust at her turningpoint so when we wil arived she was already moored.

so the pilotservice was the correct one
    so we stayed home.
    next time ,next try
    best regards Thijs

Hopefully, next time, you will have more luck... So sorry that you didn't get the chance to see her this time.

Queen Victoria is indeed not a proper "liner" but she is a very nice looking ship.

The images show her beauty very well... I love her scheme and look. Nicely captured!

The three Queens sailing together out of New York: a very historic departure and some pretty nice images:

A long time since we updated the Queen Vic sight - so here she is. Honningsvåg, 2009.

Three other cruise ships in the harbour that day. As each went past QV they sounded their ship's whistles - each time QV responded, and the entire fjord shook!!
    Cheers,

    Mark.
