Hoping to see many interesting images in the future.

    Thank you for posting!

Don't know for sure if this is ment to be the old Endless thread (Increadible) Maritime Photographs, so therefore I don't make a link at this stage, but anyway...., here's some pictures of the small tanker "Sydstraum" that I worked on this past night. She came with 400.000 ltr of Glycol (MEG) to us at Swire and I was called out on duty to dock the boat and stand guard of the pump and hose.
(Sorry for not having time to adjust my old camera)

General cargo vessel "Stabben Junior" at Kristiansund Mekaniske this saturday afternoon

And at the same yard, the old steamtrawler "Borgenes" sat ashore to inspect damages to the hull and estimate some costs.
(It said "No trespassing" on a sign down to the yard, but who can take such signs into concideration...? Not me...! (Wouldn't have been too many pictures taken then.....).

Silage vessel "Aquafisk Senior" at Sterkoder Ship Yard (Sterkoder is merely a realestate company these days...., I know...., but to ME it's still Sterkoder Ship Yard)

    Heeeey...., a "Kristiansunder".....
M/Tr. "Havbris" was delivered from Sterkoder Ship Yard here in Kristiansund as M/Tr. "Rybak" yardnr. 127 in August 1991. It was one of the 20 "Russian-trawlers" from this yard.
Oh..., I remember her being just a small plate of steel...., hahahaha....

Default Ships, boats and other floating objects seen today.

We have a thread called Single (Incredible) Maritime Photographs, which can be used for just about anything, but I take the liberty to start a new thread to show some of the variety of ships, boats, barges, tugs and other kind of "Floating Objects", which can be seen on a single day.
In this case in the Port of Singapore, but anywhere else can do.

This is some vessel and other crafts seen on a trip to Jurong West Anchorage from West Coast Ferry Wharf and back. There are no Cruise Ships, Ferries or HSC, since they frequent another part of Singapore Port.
There are over 800 vessels in port at any given time, so this is just a small selection.

First a Container Vessel leaving with full load:

    And another one arriving:

Crossing path with a Container Feeder on the way to some regional port:

And a shallow draft Feeder for river transport in Sumatra:

Some of the ever-present Bunker Tankers, in all shapes and sizes:

    A large new LNG Carrier:

    Familiar company to some.

    And a LPG Carrier:

A couple of VLCCs discharging Crude Oil at Jurong Island:

And a Product tanker of a more "manageable" size:

There are also a lot of tugs of every size to be seen. Her a 12240 Bhp
    AHTS, built at Ulstein 1997:

I'll be visiting this one tomorrow.

On the other extreme, as small tug assisting a barge tow:

And one of the more colourful wooden tugs still plying their trade in Singapore:

Barges are everywhere. This one fully loaded with sand:

Being towed by a very "normal" tug:

Another barge with a light load being pushed around:

    And the ever-present harbour tugs:

On the more specialized side; Some of the service boats plying the port.
    A Water boat:

    And a Garbage collection boat:

    A heavy lift carrier:

A Derrick/Lay Barge under final outfitting:

And a Shear leg Crane on the move:

    Finally a large Dredger:

A good idea.... the incredible photo-thread might not always be as incredible as the title states...

I've been thinking about breaking it up into a new thread, as the thread is starting to become VERY long... but I saw no reason for doing it - yet...

This might in time become the longest thread on the forum!

Japanese built, 1978. Typical for the time and place.

    ''Queen of the Netherlands'' maybe
Yes I think you are right.
