    Default S/S Orion

Moored at Skeppsholmen you will find S/S Orion. The ship was originally built in 1929 as a inspection ship for the Swedish pilot service.
You can read more about the ship here.

If this ain't ship-shape, then I don't know what would.

    A riveted life-boat.

Beautifully presented, certainly looking shipshape! And i love the riveted lifeboat, simply galvanised, looks nice like that showing the details perfectly. Thanks Tommi.

I saw that ship as well during my summer vacation last year, was very impressed with all the detail in the ship and thought it was rather sad to see it hidden away so far from downtown... should be on display I think!

Strangely it's almost impossible to take a picture of the complete ship. I guess that's a tradeoff between a central location and a cheap berthing place.
