With all those wonderful steam engines, I'd like to present the engine trainee on board my ship as well.... as a part of his training on board, practical training, he went a little beyond his assignment and created his very own steam engine:

I couldn't agree more, Steve and I admire the lad who had the initiative to go the extra mile and produce his engine. He's the sort of youngster we need so badly these days, and should go far.
But maybe my remark had another meaning!

and at the end of the steamday we had to run fast,to datch the last steamboat back to the car.
the ''hydrograaf''.

for us dutchies a very famous steamer.
we seen her every year on television end of november when she is called ''pakjesboot 12'', ''giftboxboat 12''.
he brings us from Spain the Sinterklaas,the big friend of kids.and his hundreds of servants ''Zwarte Piet'',''Black Piet''.
to know in what stupid time we live ,we have even more STUPID people.
they want to abolished the servants Zwarte Piet because of racisme.
F..king Idiots,black piet is black because they had climbing to the chimneys to deliver the gift into the shoens of litte kids,
and in that time heaters are burning on wood,so they get black by the soot.

and every f..king year it's the same.they are probally people where there parrent not cellebrating the Sinterklaas birthday.
yes we celebrating his birthday 0n 5 dec while his birtday was 6 dec,
and instead of giving him gifts,kids get them from him.

time is changing.
when i was young and the sinterklaas came to the comunitybuilding,we never leaved house before i was sure that my father had taken a knife with him.
in that era when you was a naughty kid,(what sinterklaas knows,because it stands in his VERY BIG BOOK) you got hit with the ''roe'' a kind of little branches broom.
but if you was really naughty you get into the jute bag,to Spain.
and because al those bags where already empty,surprises where already gifted and the candy that the Black servants gave or sprinkeld arround,
so place enough for naughty kids.(not me i was just a cute kid,but just in case)
so thatwhy my father always had to bring a knife ,so he could cut open the bag.
nowadays sinterklaas don't punishes kids anymore.





this is the same port as the Dordt in Steam weekend.
then affraid that i would go into the jute bag,
now i'm standing on his steamer,
and not affraid enymore.

this is the second one he build (not Noah) the first one was smaller,and this one is build on a pontoon.

afetr years of building it ,the ark opend a few weeks back.
build by a man a son that is (as we say in holland) heavy on curch,it's one big infomation and exposition ''vessel'' but related to church.
