Recently, I stumbled upon the existence of a kind of "postal steamer" on the west coast of Greenland, the MS ''Sarfaq Ittuk'' of Arctic Umiaq Line, which looks like a really nice little vessel. Apparently it's possible to travel with her from Narsaq to Ilulissat, four nights on board and several stops, a quite hurtigruten-like way of travelling, it seems to me. So, I'm now speculating about whether this might be a good option for holidays, maybe this year or next year. However, the Wikipedia article about the operator Arctic Umiaq Line mentions financial problems: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arctic_Umiaq_Line - it's an outdated article, talking about "the government guarantees further extended into 2011"; maybe one of the esteemed forum contributors can say more regarding the financial situation? Is it stable now? And if you know it, you could maybe update the Wikipedia article
