but one thing its to bad you used your old lens (i suppose) it really takes the quality off some images. (dont take it to personal they are still awsome images)

Thank you very much wesley, I appreciate your honest opinion and I do agree. I see some of the images, especially in the last series when she had departed and were sailing out the Trondheimsfjord, they do lack that extra sharpness.
A new tele-lens is on the top of my list. Just sad I couldn't get it before the Queen arrived.

After grappling with thoughts of proportions of hull and similarly triangular view beyond, corresponding amounts of blue sky at top and blue sea below, the position of red colour, (the only thing I could even begin to explain was that these lighting conditions are more successful than in the similar #127).....I liked it too, and I think it's because it seems like as if she is peaking around the corner (the edge of the frame), to see what is going on...
So I’m so glad you said that pakarang. Of course that’s it! It’s as if you the photographer had just been taking the view beyond, a study of green and blue, and the Queen comes to see what you’re up to and kind of says “Look how beautiful my bow is . . . its shape . . . its sleek texture and regal colour . . . I command you to include me” – but of course she has already slid into your image!
Command? . . . seduction more like . . . and before long you’ve taken a whole photo portfolio for her –for us – complete with elegantly regal logo-caption.

"Queen Mary 2" departing Tromsø yesterday afternoon and heading south to Ålesund.
At the moment, she is 100 nautical mile northwest of Sandnessjøen
