This is not necessarily a Maritime Image since there are no ships in it, but it's still got the oceans at which ships sail.
This is amongst the most perfect sunset images I have seen across any mass of water... taken by Speedbird!

In a few years there will be a tunnel under the ocean here, and Bjarkøyforbindelsen would become a reality.( Tunnel from Grytøy to Bjarkøy and a Bridge from Sandsøy to Grytøy) I'll miss the ferry in many ways, but since the ferry connection today has a lack of frequency, a tunnel would be better(or a bridge, but the politicans wanted a tunnel). On Toppsundet ( Between Grytøy and Hinnøy), the ferry connection has great frequency and there is no need for a tunnel nor a bridge.
