Two really rather special ones Joakim…great atmosphere and sense of time of day as well as documenting the vessel.

With the Los (Pilot) boat peeking around the corner, and the Fiskarfagskole on the hill. Very atmostpheric. Very Honningsvåg.

Post #234 in this thread shows Odin in very different weather and seasons.

"Ragni Berg" sailing out of Kristiansund harbour this afternoon.
I see a pilot on board, so I guess this is one of the missions the pilot boat can't take after the new "agreement" between the pilot boat drivers and Kystverket.

    Do you remember this one:

I just received an e-mail from the Owner and Skipper, Forest McMullen with a link to their website and an article in Baatmagasinet about their visit to Norway 2010: http://www.frithjofwiese.com/newsinf...40_wiese_58781

They are now in Brest as far as I can tell and will remain there until July to participate in what must be one of the largest meetings of old sailing vessels, large and small: http://www.lestonnerresdebrest2012.fr/fr/

Maybe some of our French members here on CVF want to make contact with Forest to arrange a visit on board? Here is his e-mail address: Forest McMullen <forestm@uw.edu>

He is still looking for a buyer for the Frithjof Wiese, preferably someone in Norway who will keep her in her original home country and take good care of her. (Or somebody who are looking for a sturdy boat to travel around the world??)

What boat will be stationed in Kristiansund changes like anyone changes their shirt, but anyway...., TODAY it happens to be "Skomvær III".

Skomvær III... I remember her from my late childhood, up there in Rørvik when she was brand new.

She was a favorite photo subject back then...
