A SSCV seen at long distance off Batam today:

I'm not sure whether it is the Hermod or the Balder, but I'm pretty sure it is one of them.

it's the ''Hermod'' Ombugge, the ''Balder'' and the ''Thialf'' are for some months already in Rotterdam for BIG maintenance.
a collogue af me told me that there wold be a kind of open doors at the Herema plant and that all three would be in Rotterdam.
and that the plubication for that was at the maasmond newsletter.
but tracing the "Hermod'' on ais and maasmond i saw that she was hedding to Batam, for some maintenance and making her ready for her next job.

the crane of the ''MPI adventure'' preparing for lifting a foundationpole for a windmill at sea.
not really a floating crane, but it floats and has a crane.
but it's a windmillbuildingsvessel. (does this count at scrabble?)

was at the neighbours proporty,so only this kind of images (from the back).

should those hardheads help if the hook falss down.

the big round thinghy in front is the foundationpole, the white thinghy with the dutch flag (red white and bleu in case you didn't know that) on board, is the drill hammer.
