That linked worked thank you. Yes i have heard about this treatment, I read about a few people in America that underwent the procedure, all saying it improved their symptoms. My M.S nurse is aware of it, but at the moment the NHS is waiting for study results before they consider offering the treatment. Obviously any treatment that does not involve even more drugs is a good thing. Yes the drugs help a great deal, but they all have side effects, and i know that in the future when my M.S progresses i will need to take further drugs that have even worse side effects, so any treatment that helps with the symptoms without the use of drugs is very welcome in my view.
Thank you once again for sending me the link, it's encouraging to hear that it's not only in America where this treatment is being used.

Thanks for the link Ombugge, unfortunately i cannot get the link to work. It takes me to the main page of the newspaper (front page is about the ship tunnel), and by clicking on the news link i can find the article "Controversial treatment for M.S", when i click on 'read more' it takes me to a video that will not play - maybe video not available to my country?
Not being able to view the video it's hard for me to say if it's something i have heard about before, but i do keep my eyes and ears open for any developments regarding the treatment of M.S. I think the last controversial idea i heard about was related to restricted blood arteries in the neck.
Thanks for the link anyway, very much appreciated, and if you do spot the article again i would be interested.

    All the best.
    Steve.

Hi Ombugge, apologies for my late reply, i have only just spotted your message.
Thanks for your concern, you would have read my post in the 'Chit Chat' thread by now, so you will know it was my health causing problems. But i am on the up again now, so should be around a bit more.

Again sorry for the late reply, i thought i was always sent a notification email when someone leaves me a message, but obviously not, i will have to check my settings. On the old forum i would always get a pop up message when logging in telling me i had a message.

I am certainly looking forward to getting involved a lot more again, i have missed the puzzle solving, and have certainly missed your informed and detailed views on a lot of the technical subjects - i have always been one that wants to know how things work, and equally if something goes wrong i always crave to understand exactly what happened and why. I always find your detailed posts very interesting.

    All the best to you,
    Steve.
