    This is my dad in 1982, after the Canberra came back from the Falklands.

    Thanks for sharing. Very interesting.
    The CANBERRA served in the war longer than the QE2 so I believe that is one reason why she looks pretty beat in this photo.
    Notice the P&O flag has been hoisted on her mainmast and the pole in front of the bow.
    Do those cranes still stand?

        Great addition... amazing to see how rusty she is after a while at sea, with minimal maintenance...
