Re: RMS Titanic of the White Star Line

I think if they ever build a Titanic II, it should be based on the un-built Q3, with the interior layout in a horizontal deck fashion like the SS Norway but with all the modern amenities of a 4-Star hotel. Here are a few pictures of the Q3:

To have a Titanic II based on the Olympic class oceanliner of 1912 is never going to be authentic. If that was the case, I doubt that anyone would be interested in sailing onboard her. But I feel that the Q3 design would make a lot of sense, with a few interior modifications that would be along the lines of the SS Rotterdam and SS Oceanic.

Oh my….I have been to two Titanic exhibitions, in Edinburgh a number of years ago and in Copenhagen recently, and was interested in how there was a different slant and greater emphasis on some exhibits and personal stories of passengers with Scottish and Scandinavian nationality or connections respectively.
Now I am so very curious as to how it would be seen through Asian eyes.

I have build the Titanic (hurray)

I'm not 100% done yet. I didnt get the perfect (it needs to be perfect) color for the antifouling, and now I'm out of paint so for now the whole hull is black. Lifeboats missing also because I'm out of white paint. Besides that there's a few details still missing.

                        I think that is correct!

Isn't it strange to see how she appears to have "melted" like a icecream cake on a warm summers day?

BTW, did you see this deleted scene from the Titanic movie?

I think there's so many good scenes that was cut out of the movie. Of course they couldnt include all of them, cause the movie would be way to long, but there are a lot of good deleted scenes. Including that one.

The Titanic Requiem - Robin and RJ Gibb.

The late Robin Gibb was very passionate about the history of the Titanic and those that lost their lives aboard her. So much so that he and his son RJ felt compelled to write a requiem in remembrance of those that lost their lives. Even though he was battling cancer, Robin and his son were determined to complete the requiem in time to mark the 100th anniversary of the ships sinking. This was the first piece of classical music Robin had ever written.

Robin performed on one of the tracks - 'Don't Cry Alone', and he had hoped so much to be well enough to perform it live at the 'Titanic Requiem' concert in London in April of this year. Sadly Robins health did not allow him to fulfill that dream.
