Don't know if Allen Rubin is still on this board, the CEO of the Titanic Resort Project in Las Vegas, but he once said on the old forum that the Titanic Las Vegas is really going to be built. I'm wondering what the current status of the project is, is it still going to be realized?

I also found this, it's a Dutch project:

    might be interesting to read

The Dutch project looks very interesting but I doubt they will pull it off. We have seen many stories like this over the years but they all add to nothing. The guys behind this idea say the replica Titanic will stay true to the original drawings but how will they be able to get round all the modern safety regs?

Majorca 100, To answer your question as to the status of the proposed Titanic Resort Project in Las Vegas. Its a dead issue. It was voted down by the city fathers a few years ago. Sorry!

TOO FUNNY!!!!!!!! My Garmin (in Folly) says this in a ***y Australian voice, but in the Mariner, "Bernice" (as we call the schoolmarm voice that is the only one available) says it with condescending know-it-all snarl.......

April 12th today.... 99 years ago, Titanic was closing on her catastrophic end.

Anyone spent any time thinking about what happened 99 years ago?
