  • SS Norway - Various images

These images has been passed to me by someone who copied them from someone that probably copied them from someone else...

There will never be an other SS Norway. Those who experianced her before her last departure is fortunate.

The world is so much poorer without her. Soon we will be running out of "new" pictures of her :-(

A couple of weeks ago I saw the 3rd movie by German comedian Otto Waalkes. In a short scene he drives through Miami and you can see two very famous winged funnels in the distance - man, would I wish to be able to just drive anywhere and see her appear at the horizon 8-/

At facebook, this image was recently posted... this is the ULTIMATE angle of the ship, and if anyone are good at creating a painting, this is the large format I want for Christmas!

Now that's a pretty photo, would look great for wallpaper on the computer monitor. When my late husband and I were on the NORWEGIAN WIND in Nov. 2003. I had seen this outside The Terraces Dining Room aft. I thought this was a nice tip of the hat to the NORWAY.

sigpicI will never forget the lovely grand SS NORWAY.
            Past Cruises on her: August 22, 1992. June 4, 1994, April 7, 2002.
Nearly had our fourth cruise, it was set for November 7, 2003...
the boiler room disaster of May 4, 2003 took her out of service.
We ended up on the NORWEGIAN WIND, not the same as the SS NORWAY
